École Centrale School of Engineering (MEC) is an international collaboration between Tech Mahindra of the Mahindra Group and CentraleSupélec (one among the Groupe des Écoles Centrale which includes Centrale Lyon, Centrale Nantes, Centrale Lille and Centrale Marseille as well as Centrale Beijing, Mahindra University École Centrale School of Engineering (MEC) and Centrale Casablanca) to enable world-class engineering education for aspiring engineers right here in our country.

(Hereinafter, CentraleSupélec will indicate Groupe des Écoles Centrale for convenience).

MEC signifies the ‘Rise of the New Engineer’ – a Leader, Entrepreneur and Innovator who embodies the Mahindra Rise spirit of Accepting No Limits, Driving Positive Change and Alternative Thinking.

Within a short span since inception in 2014, MEC has graduated two batches successfully. MEC engineering graduates have not only secured admission into top universities in USA, France and Germany, but have also been selected by leading global companies from Europe, Japan and India.

While Mahindra Group is a multinational organization worth USD 20.7 billion with 2,00,000 employees across 100 countries, École Centrale Paris (now CentraleSupélec) has been the alma mater to prestigious alumni whose contributions to the world have been pivotal: Gustave Eiffel, and founders of many renowned companies like Renault, Peugeot, Dior, Michelin, Schlumberger, etc.

Having such illustrious origins, MEC aims to reach the pinnacle of excellence in industry-aligned teaching and research programs that are globally relevant.
